Recipe: leaves and curds

Here at the Beemouse Institute, we have ramped up R&D in our Food Research Division (FRD) lately.

leaves and curds

FRD came up with a recipe they call “leaves and curds.”

  1. Brew loose-leaf tea
  2. Add cream
  3. Wait for curds to float to top
  4. Decide if you’re going to waste a cup of tea or just drink the damn thing

It is possible for the recipe to completely fail, if you pick a non-curdling tea. Rooibos (Aspalathus linearis) was used in the above experiment. Good luck.

Looks good actually – might try this at home sometime.

Hey Jess, not to be a nag, but two questions concerning the Moleskine exchange:

    1. would you still be interested in being part of a possible book compiling work from our Moleskine group?

    2. would you happen to have my ’skine currently?

Sorry to bug ya here. Just thought this might be the best ave. to contact you. :)

  3. Oh! You won’t believe this, but I have two ’skines unoped on the shelf that are waiting for me. I will check to see if one is yours, and let you know! So sorry. The shame of my slowness in this project knows no bounds.

I would be interested in a book, depending on what the plan is– I need to get back to our blog and catch up with everyone and see what’s going on. Thanks for the prod :)

I read my blogs through an RSS feed, so this is indeed a better way to reach me, unfortunately, since when I see that I have about 230450 things to read in the RSS feed I get overwhelmed and switch tabs while trying to keep my eyes from twitching. Maybe I will create a separate category for V Important Blogs that I need to be following!
