I watched Ghost in a Shell, and one of the series that came out of it ("Stand Alone Complex") -- which was pretty good. I dig all that anime stuff, and Lain was actually in my Netflix queue, but I've bumped it up to the front on the basis of Bryan's ringing endorsement :-) Yeah, I think the latter frames aren’t that bad either.

I watched Ghost in a Shell, and one of the series that came out of it (”Stand Alone Complex”) — which was pretty good. I dig all that anime stuff, and Lain was actually in my Netflix queue, but I’ve bumped it up to the front on the basis of Bryan’s ringing endorsement :-)

You know, what's weird is that I just don't feel anything aesthetically wrong with the latter frames in that clip. It makes me think about lots and lots of humans lives, all in one place, and that's exciting to me. Maybe that's a case of "humans can get used to anything", or... I mean... Have you ever watched the anime Ghost in the Shell? Just wait until we've all been absorbed into the internet. I bet that will be beautiful too ;) Oooh ooh!
