		<description>I actually think I&#039;ve been there before, but I only visited NYC once, and it was during my freshman year from which almost all of my memories are missing (ALIEN ABDUCTION), so...

It is strange to think about stuffed animals being thought of as super-nature-y.  I think that was before the time when the big national parks push happened and people realized they could get in their cars and drive and see the animals in person, if they had enough money.  (Oh yeah, and shoot their own, too.)</description>

		<description>this looks like the museum of natural history in NYC.  if it is, then what is weirder is that it&#039;s not just a mural, it&#039;s a glass box with a mural at back and dead stuffed animals in it.  a throwback from a time when killing and stuffing an animal was an appropriate way to &quot;appreciate nature.&quot;  it&#039;s a totally amazing museum though, the dead animals area being really skin-crawley.</description>
