Spiders draw traffic

Let us take a moment to contemplate my “most viewed” flickr photo of all time:

spider bites

Hmm. That’s me five years ago with a giant, itchy spider bite on my chin. If you google “spider bites” (without quotes), you’ll see me on page 6. I recommend careful consideration before looking at the first 5 pages. I bet by the time people get to page 6 and see a pretty normal looking face they’re so relieved they just click involuntarily.

I’m kind of sad I’m not one of those fancy flickr users with like 10,000 views of this awesome HDR composition that makes some stunning commentary on the human condition in addition to showcasing an amazing landscape, but… um… um… the only mad props I need are my own? I think I was taught something like that in school in the 80s. Man, self-esteem was so fashionable then!

And yet not a single radioactive spider bite to found. Odd.
