Oh!
I just finished ordering the framing supplies for a photography show I’m putting up at Wink Hair Studio on Queen Anne. Included in the show will be photos from Puerto Vallarta, Tokyo, and some of my plant photography.
I put such a dent in Richard’s credit card ordering the supplies. It’s terrifying trying to come up with a sale price, knowing that the supply price is so high, and knowing that I need to value my own work high enough, considering how much time and effort go into preparing the photographs themselves.
One of my favorite teachers in the UW Scientific Illustration program told us that other people would value our work only as much as we valued it ourselves. I guess now is the time to find out if that holds true when it comes to selling.
