to new beginnings!

Richard and I just moved to a new house. It’s very tiny (about 800 square feet), but we have it all to ourselves!

The new place has a lot of gardening space, and the owners were gardeners when they used to live in it, so it already has some interesting plantings.

I learned about a new plant, the Japanese anemone. Below is a photo of the seed heads that are currently ripening in the yard. The dead stalks are so tall that I thought at first it was a vining plant.
