It was almost this time last year when I went to Puerto Vallarta with a group of friends. I’ve been wistfully reminiscing. We rented a house in a residential area that had a pool and an amazing view of La Zona Romantica. I had never been on a “tropical paradise” vacation before… I was completely blown away by the lush jungle, the sounds of farm animals waking up in the morning, the bright light that bounced off every surface… I remember the feel of the hot, wet air and the way the ambient sounds reverberated around the valley. Oh man… I want to go back.
I took the following picture from the roof of our house. These are the houses that were up the hill from us, nestled back in the jungle. So beautiful.

I came across your flickr album for your PV trip as a result of a search on Casa Vista Vieja. A group of us are staying there in Jan/Feb 08 and would like to know a little more about the house from a former renter’s point of view. If you feel inclined to let us know more about your experience there, we’d sure welcome it if you could respond to the eddress I’ve posted.
