I managed to get up early enough this week to take some pictures of the sun rising over Queen Anne. It wasn’t on purpose; Richard’s been up early every morning the past couple of weeks on conference calls, and I just happened to wake up and stumble out into the living room as the first rays of sun hit the windows on the top of the hill.
I was pondering this photo and laughing at how it demonstrates various income strata in the Lake Union area. I’m pretty sure that the greenbelt has only remained so the people on the top of the hill don’t have to look directly at apartment complexes.
